Rhodes is one of the islands with the most reliable winds in the Mediterranean. This is particularly true for the summer months from mid-June to mid-September. During this time, the
Meltemi reaches its greatest strength. The wind conditions at the northern spots (Ixia, Trianda/Ialyssos, Kremasti,
Theologos, Fanes and Kalavarda) are similar. There is no reason to choose one particular spot because of the wind.
Prasonisi is located in the south. Usually, the wind is a bit stronger there. However, the south of Rhodes is a quiet region with little entertainment.
